On April 2016, a NASA research came to declare that Earth’s irregular rotation not due to melting of ice sheets, but other droughts across planet. They calculated how much mass was involved in water cycling between Earth’s land areas and its oceans from 2003 to 2015, and the extent to which the mass losses and gains pulled and pushed on the spin axis. Around the year 2000, Earth’s spin axis took an abrupt turn toward the east and is now drifting almost twice as fast as before, at a rate of almost 17 centimeters (7 inches) a year.
I beg to differ with the outcome of NASA research as variations in water and ice levels have been the constant norm all the time without a tangible impact on the Earth axis of rotation getting drifted or wobbled. In my research and as explained on the Earth Magnets page of this site https://planet-earth-2017.com/the-true-source-of-earth-magnetic-field/, I came to conclude that although there is an induced south polarity magnetic fields at each of the Northern and Southern pole regions due to the Outer Core helically flowing electrons, there is also a presence of a stronger dipole magnetic field, and that the source of such a dipole magnet can only be the Inner Core. Under extreme pressure and high temperature, the Inner Core became ductile and its two magnetic poles are not synchronously aligned to each other at the geo pole regions of Earth. In other words, the imaginary line connecting the two magnetic poles does not pass through the centre point of Earth.
According to http://wdc.kugi.kyoto-u.ac.jp/poles/polesexp.html, the magnetic pole in the North has moved from 81.0N-109.6W in the year 2000 to 86.4N-166.3W in the year 2016. And, the magnetic pole in the South has moved from 64.7S-138.3E in the year 2000 to 64.2S-136.4E in the year 2016. As both magnetic poles keep moving eastward, it is expected that the centre of gravity of the Inner Core to also move to the east. Such a move could explain why the spin axis has drifted to the east as quoted by NASA: “a massive eastward drift of our axis over past 16 years”. A precise comparison of the eastward movement of the centre of gravity of the Inner Core where density is 13 gm/ cm3 to the rebalance of ice and water where the density is a mere 1 gm/ cm3, could tell which one of us is correct.

Since the pole is shifting as we speak.. would it be safe to say that the physical shift is happening as well? Perhaps speeding up now cause it’s getting closer to critical mass and will finish its flip? The big Chile earthquake a while back has been claimed to have shifted the axis of Earth already.. with the big one coming still with the final movement.. Just some speculation cause I’ll noticed alot of stories of the Sun, moon, and stars are different..

+paskwawi2007 Japan quake dinged our axis back the other direction of the Chile quake. The two kicked us in opposite directions and we are nearly where we were before. There is almost no geographic shift as of now.

I have watched a youtube link that have you mentioned in your message. While it lists the observations but lacks the broader view of each change as well as tangible evidence to support a futuristic view. To be specific:
1- The observation that both magnetic poles are moving eastward at accelerating rate: The video did not explain why or how could an induced magnetic field wander around. Unless the magnetic field that we observe on the surface of Earth is not an induced one but rather a permanent magnet, but due to being ductile under enormous temperature and pressure its poles could be pulled and/ or twisted. On the page “Earth Magnet” of this site I explained the magnetic configuration of our planet through existing physics and geological discoveries.
2- The Magnetic field is fading. Such a general comment is true on the western and southern hemisphere but not the eastern hemisphere. As the two magnetic poles are moving eastward, the distance between the two magnetic poles has increased by 800 km in one hundred years, by correlating data from the US National Geophysical Data Centre and the World Data Centre for Geomagnetism- Kyoto; as per a post that I added to this site https://planet-earth-2017.com/2014/06/23/current-magnetic-field-map-confirms-3-magnets-configuration/ I also sent to Berkeley to correct their testimony that and explaining that the field is not collapsing as a whole. While it has dropped over New York by 14% in over a hundred years, it has increased over Cairo by 9% for the same period https://planet-earth-2017.com/2014/10/ . Of course, half way between the two magnetic poles where the distance has increased and the curvature of the planet causes a maximum divergence of a weaker field, you would find what is called the South Atlantic Anomaly where the field is the weakest on the face of the Earth.
3- The disturbance under the ocean half way between the two magnetic poles along the eastern rim: confirms my theory that the magnetic field that we observe emanates out of a permanent magnet that is ductile and that the stress created in its mid point when its two poles are pulled eastward could cause shockwaves into the mantle and crust above.
4- Magnetic reversal are linked with extinction events: The video that you shared spoke of observations but failed to explain the reason again. In my theory I link the spin speed to the location of the magnetic poles. Further details on what makes the planet spins you may find on “Earth Spin Speed” page of this site. As the poles continue moving and could relocate away from the axis of rotation, the spin speed will slow down, causing sea level to change. While sea level recedes between the tropics, it could drastically increase at far northern and far southern hemispheres as water volume shall not be reduced but displaced. A sudden slow in spin speed as a result of accelerated relocation of the magnetic poles, could mean that oceans will continue to travel faster than the crust for some time until all settled down. This would cause huge tidal waves on all western shores. One must think what makes the two magnetic poles move eastward and my answer is simply and solely the magnetic pull of a another planet within the solar system. But we know of 8 planets that are there and never had such fast changes before in memorable history. What if planet 9 which is acclaimed by the Caltech scientists and others happen to be pursuing an elliptic path and that its magnetic pull as it gets closer to the inner solar system causes our magnetic poles to be pulled eastward! More evidence that I was able to find in ancient text and folklore as well as geological evidences as manifested on several pages of this site. The final approach of such a new planet would lead to pulling more of the magnetic field force lines towards it; thus leaving a huge region unprotected against the charged particles arriving from the Sun. Exposure to extra dose of Protons leads to damaging of the central nervous system of small body animals and could cause human cancer.
